Because “Here are some docs, have fun” isn’t a good way to teach
WebNinja is an “interactive” guide teaching HTML and CSS to interested novices, written originally for IT class where we were told to build a website using PHP and in order to teach us how the teacher basically just went “ya guys have google, right?”.
While this is may be fine for university courses (and even there not really) it’s not at all sensible for a school environment. To combat this problem I wrote this simple series of pages to get those that didn’t already know how stuff works (so everyone except 3 people) up to speed a little bit.
